The one with two parties

This past December, Mr Corn's brother got married in a small, rural town in North Western Connecticut. Most of the wedding guests were from out of town and were subsequently invited to the rehearsal dinner the night before the event. Being able to meet so many of the wedding guests the night before the big event helped make the ceremony and reception that much more fun.

All of the guests at our wedding will also be from out of town, but Mr Corn wasn't too keen on having such a large rehearsal dinner. Instead, we are having a rehearsal dinner for our family and friends that are participating in the wedding ceremony at a local restaurant, The Mooring Restaurant. Afterwards, we will join the rest of our guests at a rehearsal party at a local vineyard, Newport Vineyards. I am really glad that we are going to have that extra time to see our wedding guests that are traveling so far for the wedding.

What are your plans for the rehearsal events? Will all of your out of towners be joining you the night before or are you holding a more intimate rehearsal event?
