Product Review

I have been an avid scrapbooker for years and I have recently turned most of my attention to my wedding projects. There is one tool that has stood by me year after year. It is the Fiskars, 12” Paper Trimmer.

This tool has cut and folded 75 cover stock pieces into invitation folders and save-the-date cards; 75 cream sheets into text panels for said invitations and save-the-date cards; 120 menu cards, 120 program covers, 120 program inserts, 17 table number signs, 17 ornament explanation cards, 120 escort cards, 120 seating cards, 80 wedding thank you cards; etc. Not to mention the fact that before the wedding I used it for years to cut and fold thousands of brochures for a local library on top of all the cardmaking and scrapbooking!

There are a thousand items out there to use for cutting paper into straight lines, and I have tried most of them. The Fiskars system is hands-down the most reliable and at only $19.99 it is a total steal. I am pretty sure some of the major scrapbooking companies now sell straight cutters that are very similar, but Fiskars got it right the first time, so I recommend the system without any reservations.

Cut away, gals!!
